Ginkgo Abstract
I am stepping out of my box a little on this one. Usually I steer towards floral works with subtle textures. Here I captured a picture of a Ginkgo tree, which I processed in RadLab to bring out the beautiful details of the leaves. Then I used Kim Klassen's "kk_Framed" texture at 68% in Linear Light blend mode. I have never used the Linear Light blend mode before, but in this image, I loved how it gave an abstract appearance. I thought this would be an appropriate work for "Photo Art Friday".

I haven't used this effect yet and I am very impressed with the results in your picture. I love gingko trees too, they turn such a wonderful deep golden colour in the autumn and their leaves are so beautiful

Hi, I am so glad I stopped by I love the abstract shape of the Ginko leaves and I love the mouseover efect showing before and after. I would love to learn how to do that.
